After lengthy negotiations the British Government's taxation authority, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, has decided that Mobillcash is a true Financial Transaction Services Provider. This means that , just like Visa and Mastercard and other e-commerce transactions, the costs associated with processing payments through Mobillcash are not subject to Value Added Tax at source.
This has significant implications for any company that is not registered for VAT in the UK and is therefore unable to reclaim the tax from the UK Government. Perhaps more significantly, it means that all of Mobillcash's non-UK based merchants who, by default couldn't make tax reclaims from the British Government will enjoy increased net revenues. In simple terms, Mobillcash merchants make more on their bottom line when compared to all other mobile billing models.
"It's been very exciting the last few months. A day doesn't go by without an existing online marketer or merchant requesting to change to the Mobillcash Billing System so they can earn more per transaction without increasing expenses," said Glyn Smith, CEO Vidicom Ltd - The Home of Mobillcash.
This is just another example of what makes Mobillcash the world's leading m-commerce facilitator.
